Contest Rules for Nurses Week Free Lunch Giveaway
We’re so glad you’re interested in winning a free lunch for your team of nursing professionals in honor of Nurses Week.
Contestants will be entered to win a free lunch for their work team, sponsored by Berxi Insurance, part of Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Company. In consideration of this prize, contestants acknowledge and agree to these official rules before participating in the contest:
- One entry allowed per person.
- Contestants must work in one of the following professions to be eligible for a sweepstakes prize: clinical nurse specialist, nurse practitioner, registered nurse, or other nursing professional.
- Other healthcare professionals are not eligible for a sweepstakes prize.
- No purchase necessary; winners and contestants do not have to be Berxi customers.
- No employees or contractors of Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Company, or their family members, are eligible for the contest.
- Each contestant must be at least the age of majority in the state in which they reside, and competent to contract in their own name.
- Five (5) winners will be selected from all Nurses Week Contest entries received.
- Contest will end May 12, 2026, 11:59 pm ET. Winners will be randomly selected on May 14, 2025, and contacted that same day. All winners will ultimately be announced on Berxi’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/myberxi) and Instagram page (www.instagram.com/myberxi).
- Winners will be notified via email or phone. Winners must respond within 48 business hours to claim their prize. If they do not meet this deadline, they will forfeit their prize, and another winner will be chosen. Berxi will cease all attempts to contact winners on or after June 12, 2026. Berxi shall have no further obligation to notify any potential winner who has not responded prior to this date.
- Prize is lunch for each winner’s team at their place of work (must be mutually agreed-upon date and catering).
- Value of prize may not exceed $25 per person, with a maximum of $250 total.
- No cash value, other prizes, or substitutions will be provided.
- Berxi may copyright and use, reuse, publish, and republish the winner’s picture, portrait or other likeness, character, characterization, or form with the winner’s name or username in any media.
- The contestant waives any right to inspect or approve any publication, advertisement, copy, or other printed matter for Berxi. The contestant also waives their right to any liability, claims, actions, demands, choses in action, and damages relating to any publication, distortion, blurring, alteration, optical illusion, or use in composite form or otherwise that may occur or be produced intentionally or otherwise.
- Failure to comply with the above requirements or any time limitations voids contestant’s entry and makes them ineligible to collect the prize.
